| Our Mission | The Shasta Regional Soccer Association The Shasta Regional Soccer Association is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation that was founded in 2005 with the exclusive purpose of operating and managing the new Redding Soccer Park, expected to be opened in the Spring of 2007. The park, constructed by the City of Redding, encompasses four lit, all-weather, regulation soccer fields in a facility unrivaled anywhere in Northern California. The Shasta Regional Soccer Association has signed a 10 year lease with the City of Redding, insuring continuity and top-level experiences for all who visit. The geographical influence of the Shasta Regional Soccer Association encompasses most of far northern California, most specificially District IX of the California Youth Soccer Association (CYSA). District IX spans into Trinity County to the west, the Oregon border to the north, the Nevada border to the east and Corning to the south. Youth, adult, interscholastic and college playing communities will all benefit from access to a facility such as the Redding Soccer Park. The opportunity for local, non-profit community management of the facility will ensure broad accessibility, full utilization, and financial viability. |
